LANDSCAPE DESIGN & BUILD

Design Process

Phase 1: Mood and Concept
We start with a site analysis and learn about your preferences, needs and vision for the space. We develop several concepts plans accompanied by foundational plant and hardscape materials, as needed to convey the vision.

Phase 2: Materials

Based on your feedback we hone in on one concept and develop a plant palette and materials palette to bring color, texture and life to your design.

Phase 3: Final Design & Bid Package

We will created one final bid package with dimensions and measurements, plant placement, plant and hardscape palettes and quantities.

Build Process

Collect Bids

Tapping into our network of trusted Landscape Contractors, we lead the process to collect up to three bids for the homeowner to review and choose from.

Project Manage

We partner with the contractor to source the plant and hardscape materials that are specified in the design and conduct regular site visits. We act as an advocate for the homeowner and design throughout the process, ensuring all stays within budget while achieving the intended design, function, and form.

Set for Success

We conduct a final walk through and provide a final plant palette with maintenance scheudle, if needed. We will follow up several times in the following year to ensure that the garden is thriving and filling in as expected.

  • "Meg was wonderful to work with! She took our vague idea of "California native meets tropical garden and orchard to feed a toddler" into a reality from design to implementation. She provided clear design ideas with a full plant list and worked with us to find the best plants that would work for our family. She also interviewed and worked with contractors to bring the design to life. She was so open to ideas and brought a lot of knowledge to the design.

  • Working with Meg was a pleasure. She is talented and thoughtful, responsible, organized and responsive. She was very sensitive to my preferences and budget. The front and back yards she designed are just what I wanted, and I am so excited to see the plants grow. Her knowledge is encyclopedic, and she radiates a love and enthusiasm for her work. I highly recommend her!

  • Our garden has been installed and it’s slowly growing and taking shape. The pollinators are starting to arrive, attracted to all of the native plants and I can’t wait to harvest my first salad greens in the winter from our new kitchen garden. Meg was a pleasure to work with and is clearly very passionate about what she does.
