In this Mar Vista garden, we transformed a compact 400-square-foot lot into a pollinator paradise. Working around a mature Ash tree, we selected colorful California natives that thrive in dappled shade and attract the birds and butterflies our clients love. Strategic boulder placement adds height and provides perching spots for songbirds. This pocket-sized sanctuary shows how small urban lots can become wildlife habitats with thoughtful native plant design.
